In all these 51 years since I created SHAVONNE, Corp; I never bothered to check out MY Shavonne created NAME. In 1955, just prior to my discharge from the USAF, I met a most delightful young lady from Italy whose name was so melodic I never forgot it. Her name: CIAVON pronounced Sha-vone. www.shavonne.com “And now you know the rest of the story.” Sincerely Yours, Donald C. Gist, Pres/CEO

Hi Shavonne - I saw your comments on Treifalicious blog regarding the guy she was seeing. The orthodox rabbinical student who flirted with her and seemed to wanted to have sex with her. I think you were right when you said he would relish the opportunity to finally bang a little. I actually am a pretty observant Jewish man who was once in the same position as this guy she mentions. But I couldn’t take it and finally gave in. I was one who didn’t get turned off by it and really savored the experiences. Have you ever gone out or been with a Jewish guy?
No, haven’t dated a Jewish guy (to my knowledge). I never ask about his ethinicity or religious background when I go out with a guy for the first time. I like to to spread questions out over several dates. The possibility has crossed my mind though. I met a Jewish guy recently I would have definitely wanted to go out with but it never happened because of geography; he was going north east to New York and I was headed west to California.
